Keeping it simple but effective, the story of a small member organisation’s development of an integration project to eliminate multiple data entry (and errors) and drive efficiency and member service. The IAM has linked its website (with open-source CMS and protected areas), website shop (including SagePay and member and reciprocal member discounts), member database with self-service preferences and data entry and evidence upload / update, Sage and electronic input to internet banking. Volunteers to do web authoring controlled by staff to publish. A wiki has been added and the IAM is starting to introduce multiple languages and dedicated Chapter facilities. All this is with common login and security.
